After Man.U Ighalo Join Saudi’s Al-Shabab Football Club

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo has joined Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al Shabab on a permanent deal from Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua.

The star striker was handed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the King Fahd Stadium outfit having passed his medical.

After enjoying a loan spell at Manchester United, on social media, Odion ighalo expressed his gratitude to everyone at Manchester United, for making his stay a positive one.

Al Shabab are currently top of the Saudi Professional League, just past the halfway stage of the season. They are looking to win their first league title since 2011-12, with Ighalo a welcome capture.

The 31-year old will wear the number 89 at Al Shabab, and could make his debut for the Saudi side when they host Al Raed in Saturday’s league encounter.
